Community Manager

We're seeking an engaging Community Manager to lead interactions, drive engagement, and help launch new communities within our business.

About the Role

We’re looking for an outgoing, creative Community Manager who thrives on connecting with people and building vibrant communities. You’ll be the voice and champion of our communities, driving engagement, creating compelling content, and helping us launch and grow new community initiatives.

This is a remote position perfect for someone who loves social interaction and is passionate about bringing people together around shared interests.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead Community Interactions: Be the primary point of contact and engagement leader across our community platforms
  • Drive Engagement: Create and implement strategies to keep community members active, connected, and excited
  • Launch New Communities: Help identify, plan, and launch new community initiatives within our business
  • Content Creation: Generate engaging content for newsletters, keeping members informed and connected
  • Podcast Support: Assist with community podcast production, content planning, and guest coordination
  • Event Planning: Plan and potentially run online and in-person community events and meetups
  • Community Growth: Develop initiatives to attract new members and retain existing ones
  • Monitor & Respond: Keep pulse on community conversations, respond to questions, and facilitate discussions

Required Skills & Experience

  • Community Building: Proven experience managing and growing online communities
  • Excellent Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Social & Engaging: Naturally outgoing personality who genuinely enjoys meeting new people
  • Content Creation: Experience creating newsletters, social media content, or similar communications
  • Self-Motivated: Able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Organized: Strong project management skills to juggle multiple community initiatives

Nice to Have

  • Event Planning: Experience organizing online webinars or in-person meetups/conferences
  • Podcast Experience: Familiarity with podcast production, editing, or hosting
  • Analytics: Experience with community metrics and using data to drive engagement strategies
  • Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with community platforms (Discord, Slack, Circle, etc.)
  • Marketing Background: Understanding of community marketing and growth strategies
  • Video Content: Comfortable being on camera for community videos or live streams
